We are looking for a Curriculum Coordinator who will be supporting our Grandview and Kingsdale locations. We are a premier daycare center that maintains low student to teacher ratios, serves freshly prepared wholesome organic meals and offer many more services and amenities to differentiate ourselves from the pack. We are looking for a leader who can partner with the Director and grow the center from ground up.
- At least two years of experience as a Lead Teacher.
- You can be “calm in storm” while facing staffing and other challenges that comes with the job.
- You can maintain a positive attitude at all times towards the parents, teachers, owners.
- You are reliable 100% (show up to work everyday, on time)

Responsibilities and Duties
Day to day operations
- Ensure the center runs as a well-oiled machine every day.
- Provide training to teachers on how to do lesson plans and execute lesson plans.
- Audit classrooms for lesson plans.
- First in line to attend buzzers from classrooms for bathroom breaks and other questions.
- Plan and conduct smooth, successful parent conferences.
- Plan and conduct events (water days, theme weeks etc).
- Plan and coordinate summer camp.
- Fill in for ratio at least 50%.
Compliance
- Our goals is to comply with all ODJFS rules at all times.
- You will have thorough knowledge of all ODJFS rules, OCCRRA and OCLQS systems.
- Conduct regular classroom inspections to make sure rules are followed.
- Proactively prepare teachers and center for perfect ODJFS inspections.
- Ensure we are always in compliance with Columbus Public Health (Food safety) rules and Columbus Fire Safety rules.
Relationship Management
- Children – Number one priority for us is to keep our children safe and happy. You will be spending time in the classroom, developing personal relationships with children and conducting regular classroom and playground inspections.
- Parents – Second most important priority is to ensure parent satisfaction. You will be communicating with parents for Parent conferences, theme weeks, summer camp and other activities as necessary.
- Teachers – Third important priority for us is the well being of our teachers. You will develop great relationships with teachers and proactively removing roadblocks for the teachers.
- Owners (Franchisee) – You will be an effective communicator to keep the owners informed at all times and seek out their help when necessary.
Other Requirements
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially relating to children.
- Flexibility in work hours and assignment.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
- A clean background check.
- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid.
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances.
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feed with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
