Position – Residential Aide Supervisor

Program – Coley House

Location – Hamden

Salary - $19.50/hour

Schedule – Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11pm

Program Summary:

A residential step-down program where pregnant and/or parenting women are required to participate in substance use community treatment while living in a safe and structured environment. Clients will meet with their Case Manager on a weekly basis and attend daily psychoeducational groups. The program is designed to support women, as they return to their communities as a healthy and productive parent in recovery.

Position Summary:

The Residential Aide Supervisor delivers comprehensive, gender responsive, trauma informed, client support for single women in recovery in this short-term residential treatment program. Provides direct supervision to residential aides, assist program manager in creating staff schedules, and provide on-call coverage for program 2 weeks per month. Staff are expected to respond effectively to meet the needs of clients, co-workers, community members and funders. The Residential Aide Supervisor will maintain professional and ethical boundaries with all staff, clients, visitors, and community supports. Staff is to remain knowledgeable on and adhere to, agency and program policies. This position reports directly to the Program Manager.

The Residential Aide Supervisor is a member of the care team providing care and comprehensive substance use treatment services to women who have young children or are expecting a child, at our residential Women and Children Substance Abuse Treatment facilities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
