Job Overview
Nourishing Minds Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional's (QMHP) to respond to community-based mental health crises as part of our 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals facing mental health challenges. As a QMHP, you will play a critical role in delivering short term interventions, in-person crisis assessments, de-escalation, safety planning, coordination with local resources while supporting clients through various therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatched crisis calls within your coverage area
• Complete crisis assessments and safety planning on-site
• Collaborate with LMHPs for clinical oversight when needed
• Provide brief interventions and linkages to care
• Accurately document services in timely manner
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

• Must meet Virginia QMPH-A or C qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
• At least 1 year experience in mental/behavioral health
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to promptly respond to crisis calls in coverage area.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mobile Crisis and/or Community Stabilization experience preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
