Job Overview
The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals in various settings, including inpatient facilities. This position involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions. The QMHP will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients dealing with mental health challenges.

Duties

• A. Provides direct IIH services to identified individuals and their families;
• Provides parent education and support as needed to individuals who are receiving services and have children
• Provides a variety of interventions in an individual’s home and community as appropriate and necessary. These interventions may be behavioral, social and emotional, recreational, as needed
• Develop and implement Individual Service Plans based on the needs/barriers of the individual and the family;
• Is responsible for the proper and timely documentation of all information required by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Department of Medical Assistance Services and Nation of Resilient Souls, LLC;

Skills

• Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and chronic pain counseling methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Mental health principles and their application in treatment.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
• Ability to conduct research and collect data effectively for clinical purposes.
• Familiarity with accurate medical record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and colleague
• Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of mental health issues.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
