LPC/LCSW IOP Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor

Licensed LPC or LCSW needed to supervise the SA IOP

GHR Center – Norfolk, VA

Become part of an interdisciplinary treatment team at the GHR Center for Addiction Recovery and Treatment. We are seeking a licensed therapist to supervise the SA IOP and to have a caseload of IOP and OBAT patients. You will provide recovery-oriented group therapy, psycho-educational and individual therapy for substance abuse patients with co-occurring mental health disorders. We are specifically interested in people who have experience with Substance Abuse IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program).

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

  • Experience in supervising residents in counseling and CSAC’s for both clinical work and documentation
  • Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health counseling (experience in group, family, individual and educational counseling)
  • Familiar with IOP policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria and how to write and update treatment plans
  • Familiarity with community substance abuse and mental health resources
  • Familiarity with Care Coordination documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Strong leadership qualities

Responsibilities

  • Supervise residents in counseling and CSAC’s for our IOP Program
  • Run IOP groups
  • Supervise/review all documentation of other IOP providers making sure all documentation is completed, up to date, and in accordance with IOP policies and procedures and ASAM guidelines
  • Carry a caseload to provide various modalities of therapy for individuals with substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders
  • Provide Care Coordination
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary treatment providers and agencies (courts, hospitals, Community Service Board, etc.)

Pay: $85,000-$100,000 per year plus benefits

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Some evenings and weekends
