About Job

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Graduate Social Workers (LGSW), or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPC) to provide in-person services for students.

Position 1:

  • Part-Time or Full-Time (2.5–5 days per week, 22.5–37.5 hours weekly)
  • Involves work at both a middle school and an elementary school (same building, no travel required)
  • For the remainder of current school year

Position 2:

  • Part-Time (25 hours per week, 20 hours direct and 5 hours indirect time)
  • Flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00 - 3:30 pm
  • Involves work at elementary school
  • For the remainder of current school year

Position 3:

  • Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
  • 8:00 - 3:30 pm
  • Grade Levels: 5th - 8th
  • Caseload: 14 students
  • For the next school year

Social Worker/Psychologist Qualifications:

  • Licensure as a Social Worker or Psychologist in DC
  • Certification as a Social Worker or Psychologist in DC
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Social Worker/Psychologist Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing Behavioral Support Services to HS students
  • Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
  • Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
  • Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
  • Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
  • Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
  • Handling Medicare reimbursements
