We are excited to announce that we are hiring an additional doctoral level psychologist to join our highly experienced and dynamic outpatient team at First Street Center. This position will be partially remote. First Street Center is a Community Mental Health Center located in beautiful Waconia, MN. Besides a flexible work schedule, we are able to offer the qualified applicant a stimulating clinical experience collaborating with an integrated multidisciplinary team consisting of experienced psychologists, social workers, psychiatric staff, and nurses. Other services at First Street Center include adult case management, crisis services, housing support, and school based therapy.We are looking for a psychologist to provide therapy and assessment services to adults, children and families. To a lesser degree, this position also involves attending multi-disciplinary meetings, and interfacing with other Carver County departments.The hiring range for this position is $100,360.00 - $122,636.80. The full pay range is $89,190.40 - $133,785.60 annually.We serve a diverse clientele and take pride in providing comprehensive and integrated clinical services. We have a full support staff team to assist with scheduling and phone calls. Since we have a contracted mobile crisis team, our outpatient psychologists do not have on-call responsibilities. Our clients have direct access to financial aid assessments, housing services, substance abuse assessments, both adult and children's targeted case management, and school-linked mental health services.Our team meets twice each week for multi-disciplinary case consultation. We have ample opportunities for continuing education and enjoy generous county-based health and retirement benefits. Since we are linked to county government, employees are also eligible to apply for Public Service School Loan Forgiveness. Conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions to provide support and assist clients in addressing and working through their emotional and behavioral problems.
Conducts psychological evaluations for schools, courts, social services, law enforcement, and/or in-house referral sources, and diagnostic assessments as requested for the Community Support Program.
Maintains client clinical record including program record keeping requirements to assure that information is current and available to all clinical staff to aid in the delivery of treatment services and third party payment.
Collaborates and works closely with other clinical personnel and other collateral professionals in meeting the needs of clients.
Provides public education and consultation on mental health issues to other agencies, schools, and groups in the community.
Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.

Doctoral Degree in Psychology

and

Licensed Psychologist in the State of MN
Valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility
