As a Direct Early Intervention Specialist, you will support clients aged 18 months to 20 years in home, community, and center settings, using developmental and sensory-based strategies to foster growth and connection. This opportunity is specifically designed for Level 3-1 providers seeking a direct role.

Flexibility to work in the Twin Cities as well as Washington, Chisago, Isanti, Mille Lacs, and Sherburne counties.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Deliver one-on-one intervention sessions.
  • Use DIRFloortime and behavior analysis to achieve client goals.
  • Attend required training and staff meetings.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention support when needed.
  • Work with families and professionals for holistic care.
  • Collect and document data to track client progress.
  • Complete accurate session notes promptly.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders on treatment planning and progress updates.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Must be employed by an EIDBI provider agency.
  • Complete required training within six months of hire.
  • Be 18+ years old and meet at least one of the following:
  • Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED.
  • Additional qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or other certifications are also welcome.
  • Pay is determined by qualifications and experience.
  • Fluency in a non-English language or tribal certification.
  • One year of experience in a related role (e.g., PCA, special education assistant).
