Quantitative Developer - Delta One MFT
A top-performing global hedge fund, known for its diversified portfolio of systematic and quantitative strategies, is looking to hire a Quantitative Developer to join its Delta One Mid-Frequency Trading (MFT) team. You’ll work on high-performance trading platforms and collaborate closely with researchers and traders to develop infrastructure and strategies focused on equities, ETFs, and futures arbitrage.
Responsibilities
- Build out a new systematic Delta One trading platform focused on statistical arbitrage and synthetic exposures across equities, ETFs, and futures.
- Develop and optimize tools for the systematic trading of equity/index arbitrage and basis trading strategies.
- Implement and iterate on mid-frequency equity/futures trading strategies in a production environment.
- Bring deep technical and market experience to solving challenges related to arbitrage complexity, execution, and signal decay.
- Collaborate within a small, high-calibre trading team to build a latency-aware system that consumes data from equities, ETFs, and listed derivatives, and executes trades across global venues
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a software engineer or quant developer focused on equities or Delta One trading systems.
- Experience building electronic trading infrastructure from the ground up, preferably in equity, ETF, or index arbitrage environments.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with a systems-level mindset and production engineering experience.
- Solid quantitative background, with the ability to understand and translate trading models into performant code.
- Direct experience in Delta One strategy development, especially around equity index, ETF arbitrage, or fair value modelling.
- Self-starter with strong ownership, able to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
