HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and Surgical Services, as well as many Outpatient Clinics and Services, and a Rural Health Clinic providing Family and Pediatric care services. We have over 350 employees who serve the residents and visitors of beautiful Logan and Hocking Hills, Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network.

Your role as A LISW/LCSW

As a part time LISW/LCSW at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you can expect to be involved in assessing, providing counseling, and managing patients, collaborating closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

To thrive as a LISW or LCSW at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you'll need a robust skill set and a passion for patient care principles will enhance your ability to connect with patients and provide compassionate, customer-centric care.

  • Must have a current/active and in good standing license in Ohio for LISW or may be a LCSW working towards becoming an Ohio licensed LISW. We are able to provide oversight and education if needed.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work.
  • At least two years of social work experience in a health care setting and one to three years related experience with mental health or counseling preferred.
  • Ability to counsel both adults and children.
  • Physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities sufficient to perform essential functions. Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be caring, compassionate and have a strong desire to provide aid and make an impact.
