About Job

Female Peer Support for Maternal Housing. The Peer Support provides encouragement, support and education to residents within JRM Maternity Housing. Must be a female for this location. Responsibilities and Duties: Works as a part of the JRM team to provide a safe and abstinent environment for residents to continue their recovery journey. Provides residents with assistance in resources and community supports such as, but not limited to: Promise to Hope, AoD Treatment Centers, Children Services Bureau, Probation, WIC, employment search, Title 20 and child care, church, 12-step meetings, NET, cash/food assistance, Medicaid, etc. Random drug screening of residents. Ability to lead devotion; prayer; Journey to Freedom; Love, Sex and Dating; and Financial Peace as needed. Assist residents in applying for and establishing permanent housing. * Maintain a team atmosphere, working together to provide healthy and faith-based recovery housing. Attend monthly staff meetings. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid driver license. If in recovery, minimum of 1 year clean and sober. With ability to pass drug screen. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to drive 15 passenger van.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Every weekend
  • Weekends only
