Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally competent, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, ensuring a welcoming environment that respects diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide customized outpatient individual and family therapy, tailored to meet the distinct needs and circumstances of each client, promoting healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis prevention plans, safety assessments, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stability and fostering their mental health journeys.
  • Participate proactively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning processes, leveraging your expertise to enhance overall client care.
  • Complete all billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner, upholding high standards of professionalism and responsibility.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment that includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and other therapists to provide an integrated approach to mental health care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Possess or be eligible for a provisional license as required by state regulations.
  • A commitment to mental health excellence, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, including access to free supervision and continuing education opportunities.
  • Interest in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.
  • Strong ethics in practice and unwavering commitment to confidentiality.
