With an increasing population of military connected college students, providing high-quality orientation services with a guided importance in the way students feel a sense of belonging, customer service and how we support retention and persistence have to begin with the success of new students' successful transition into UW Tacoma.

The new Counseling Services Coordinator will directly affect, through the work with student employees, the transition of new students and their families. They will implement new ideals and structures for the PAVE program to interact directly with students and their families and to gather stakeholder input and feedback to better support them as representatives of UW Tacoma.
