Part-Time Music Therapist – High Focus Centers & Pyramid Healthcare

Locations: In-person at our Jenkintown and Center City Philadelphia outpatient centers, with virtual group facilitation and additional site coverage as needed

Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour, based on experience and credentials

High Focus Centers, a member of the Pyramid Healthcare family, is a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health services across Pennsylvania. Together, we offer compassionate, individualized care to adolescents and adults facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Music Therapist to join our talented clinical team in the greater Philadelphia region.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate music therapy sessions that support emotional expression, healing, and recovery.
• Prepare and organize music-related materials to enhance group and individual engagement.
• Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and contribute to collaborative treatment planning.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and positive treatment outcomes.
• Support Executive Directors and program leadership in maintaining high clinical and operational standards.
• Ensure documentation is completed timely and in collaboration with clinical team members.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision as required.
• Travel between Jenkintown and Center City locations, with flexibility to provide virtual and cross-site coverage as needed.
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment, including appropriate boundaries and crisis response.
  
  

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in music therapy or a related field (required)
• MT-BC certification preferred (candidates actively pursuing certification will also be considered)
• Experience providing individual and group therapy, ideally in behavioral healthcare settings
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a collaborative approach
• Passion for using creative modalities to support mental health and recovery
