Counselors assist patients in identifying their strengths to appropriate social, educational, and occupational goals. Counselors help patients prepare and adjust to a drug-free existence and help with problematic issues. Counselors will be responsible to the Clinical Supervisor for the provision of services to assigned patients and will adhere to schedules, established program policies and procedures, and applicable Federal regulations.Counselors must have a bachelor's degree and one year of experience with substance abuse patients. Must have good skills in both verbal and written communication. At least one year of experience working with substance abuse populations, treatment planning, and the field of human social services to work toward the rehabilitation of the patient community.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with one year of experience working with substance abuse patients. Master's degree and/or advanced licenses are preferred.
