We are seeking a dedicated Career Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding individuals through career exploration, job search strategies, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with students or clients
• Provide guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search techniques
• Utilize tools such as Ellucian and PeopleSoft to track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Offer academic advising to help individuals align their educational goals with their career aspirations
• Communicate effectively to assist individuals in making informed decisions about their career paths
• Mentor and educate individuals on various career options and opportunities
• Deliver engaging presentations and workshops on topics related to career development
• Assist in recruiting efforts by promoting career services to students or clients

Requirements

• Proven experience in career counseling or related fields
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Knowledge of education administration and public speaking
• Familiarity with interviewing techniques and recruiting practices
• Ability to mentor and guide individuals towards achieving their career goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9,000.00 - $18,000.00 per month
