Job Title & Role Description:
We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Product Analyst to join our Product Team and support the ongoing management, optimization, and enhancement of our medical claims billing process, which is housed within Salesforce.
This individual will serve as a critical liaison between the Revenue Cycle team, our implementation partner, and our internal engineering teams. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with complex data sets in Salesforce and SQL-based environments.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in SOQL and comfort working with Salesforce data models and large data sets.
- Familiarity with SQL and general database structure and design principles.
- Working knowledge of medical claim structures and terminology, including fields such as dates of service, procedure and diagnosis codes, provider information, and payer details.
- Experience analyzing operational processes and translating business issues into technical requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across teams and with external vendors.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or healthcare-related billing platforms.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (a plus, but not required).
- Prior experience in a healthcare or revenue cycle operations environment.
Key Behaviors:
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team to investigate, document, and prioritize bugs, issues, and process enhancements related to the Elixir application.
- Run SOQL queries to identify and analyze data issues and perform bulk updates or operations on records in Salesforce.
- Participate in cross-functional working sessions with vendors to demonstrate system functionality, escalate issues, communicate business requirements, and validate fixes or enhancements.
- Understand and validate core components of a medical claim, including date of service, procedure codes (CPT/HCPCS), diagnosis codes (ICD-10), billing provider, rendering provider, service location, claim status, and payer details.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate billing cycles, track development timelines, and manage dependencies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, issue logs, enhancements, and system updates.
- Provide data extracts, reporting support, and analysis to assist business operations and process improvements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our Elixir implementation through feedback, testing, and continuous collaboration.
