Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges. This role involves providing psychological assessments, therapy, and support to patients, particularly focusing on those dealing with mental health issues. The Psychologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing to assess patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  • Provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic interventions to patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychology.

Skills

  • Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical records management and confidentiality protocols.
  • Expertise in diagnostic evaluation techniques and psychological testing methodologies.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health principles and interventions.
  • Competence in delivering cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) effectively.
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred.
  • Strong supervisory skills for guiding junior staff or interns.
