Job Description:
- The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services (BHS) supervisor. In this part-time contract role, you will assess the risk for suicide and mental health stability
- You will also conduct biopsychosocial assessments and updates for youth involved in legal proceedings
- Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.
- Assess the risk of suicide and mental health stability.
- Perform thorough biopsychosocial assessments for incarcerated youth.
- Make informed clinical decisions related to treatment status and needs.
- Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.
- Collaborate closely with BHS to facilitate seamless service delivery.
- Provide coverage during weekends and holidays as coordinated with BHS.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in clinical decision-making of suicidal clients, and experience in conducting biopsychosocial assessments of youth and one of the following independent licenses:
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
- Or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
