Job Description:

• The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services (BHS) supervisor. In this part-time contract role, you will assess the risk for suicide and mental health stability
• You will also conduct biopsychosocial assessments and updates for youth involved in legal proceedings
• Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.
• Assess the risk of suicide and mental health stability.
• Perform thorough biopsychosocial assessments for incarcerated youth.
• Make informed clinical decisions related to treatment status and needs.
• Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.
• Collaborate closely with BHS to facilitate seamless service delivery.
• Provide coverage during weekends and holidays as coordinated with BHS.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in clinical decision-making of suicidal clients, and experience in conducting biopsychosocial assessments of youth and one of the following independent licenses:

• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
• Or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
