Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and be skilled in providing support to individuals with various challenges, including those with developmental disabilities, PTSD, and other mental health issues. As a LPCC, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Offer individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients, including child and family counseling.
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients with developmental disabilities.
  • Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve issues that may arise during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about best practices in mental health counseling and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor is required.
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
  • Strong skills in conflict management and the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of PTSD care practices and individual/group counseling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.

Pay: $62,487.00 - $69,101.00 per year
