Role Definition: Reviews and verifies FSA claim reimbursement submissions to ensure completeness and IRS adherence. Key claims, elections, deductions, and other relevant information to maintain accurate records. Communicate with employers and members about FSA rules and guidelines. Performs other processes and duties related to FSA administration to maintain the FSA plan.
I. Conducts day-to-day functions necessary to administer the FSA plan including processing manual FSA reimbursement requests to determine eligible expenses and keys claims to system, entering new FSA elections, understanding FSA qualifying event rules to process changes, terminating FSA elections, and administration.
II. Runs weekly process to reimburse members for FSA claims. Responsible for researching and resolving system errors generated from the process. Runs quarterly process to initiate pullback of an FSA or HRA overpayments. Works with members or employers to help explain the overpayment and possible solutions.
III. Responds to verbal and written inquiries from employers regarding FSA eligibility, administration, and reconciliation. Responds to verbal and written inquiries from members to educate them on flex requirements for reimbursements.
IV. Works manual FSA processes that occur throughout the year such as carrier claim files, employer election files, and manages year end actions for grace period and carryover provisions.
V. Provides additional administrative support which includes problem identification, research, and resolution.
VI. Images and indexes employer and employee forms, emails, and documents.
VII. Works in a team environment to identify process improvements to share with leadership.
VIII. Other testing, projects and duties as assigned related to the job.
