This full-time contract position is ideal for individuals committed to enhancing the educational experiences of students through applied behavioral analysis and tailored interventions.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity with educational policies and procedures regarding student support
Location:
- Sterling Heights, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to provide training and support on behavioral techniques
- Monitor and analyze data related to student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and behavioral data
- Advocate for students needs and support their development within the school environment
