This individual will provide instruction and information to parents of special needs children, ages birth to 3, in a home-visit model. Will conduct standardized assessments to determine eligibility and functioning of referred children. Will discuss with families their concerns and priorities for their child and family and collaborate with team members, including the family, to develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) for the child. Will coordinate and monitor the timely delivery of Early Intervention services and track child’s progress.

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family Services, Health Services or a related field and experience working with children. Experience working in an early intervention program preferred. Must have good record keeping ability and good computer skills including some data entry. Good communication skills needed with Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. Requires a person with full mobility, the ability to see, hear and speak, and lift up to 20 lbs. Accommodations can be made as necessary. Applicants will be required to pass a background check and e-verification. Requires a current driver license and reliable transportation to conduct home visits with employer paid mileage.
