Job Summary
The Direct Care Worker plays a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need, specifically to those with disabilities & seniors. This position involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in social interactions and daily routines.
• Offer specialized care for seniors, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
• Experience in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
• Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Driving daily is required & reliable and safe vehicle and a current and valid driver's license is also required.
