Shift: 1st Shift (7:15 AM – 2:45 PM, 30-minute meal break)
Days: Monday through Friday

Job Description
The School Psychologist at High School is responsible for supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students in grades 7 and 8. This position plays a key role in the implementation and monitoring of special education services and intervention strategies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 30 psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility determinations for students suspected of having disabilities.
- Participate as a key member of the IEP (Individualized Education Program) team.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop interventions and supports within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Interpret evaluation results to inform eligibility, placement, and instructional programming decisions.
- Provide consultation and support for behavioral and academic interventions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
- Support crisis response and social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based committees.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Experience with adolescent populations and middle school educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, MTSS, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
