Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? CRi, a renowned non-profit organization serving Northern Virginia, Richmond, and Maryland, is looking for an Administrative Social Worker to lead our Medicaid redetermination process for ICF/IDD services.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary contact for local Department of Social Services, ensuring seamless communication and support.
  • Navigate the Virginia Medicaid web portal to maintain continuity of coverage and accurately assess patient copays.
  • Monitor and manage additional entitlements like pensions and trusts, acting as the income source liaison for CRi.
  • Collaborate with clinical and financial departments to streamline processes and enhance communication.
  • Work closely with PFA analysts to ensure compliance with resource limits and assist in developing spending plans.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement systems for managing Medicaid and Social Security benefits.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of Medicaid Redetermination forms.
  • Communicate patient pay information and manage copay adjustments effectively.
  • Act as Social Security Representative Payee and lead appeals when necessary.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of income, resources, and copay responsibilities.
Schedule & Location:
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Locations: Support six programs across Arlington, Ashburn, and Manassas
  • Compensation: $44,761.60 per year


Requirements

What You Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work and at least one year of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Social Security systems.
  • Proficiency in office equipment and technology.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
