Position: Part-Time Licensed Social Worker (LSW) – Teen Girls Group Facilitator
Location: Leveling Up, 5600 Monroe Street Suite B 207, Sylvania, OH 43560
Hours: Summer Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, School Hours: TBD
Pay: $30/hour

About Us:
Leveling Up is a CARF-accredited and OHMAS-certified mental health agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our clients. We are currently hiring a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to facilitate our therapeutic day treatment group for teen girls.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated LSW to lead a structured group for 8–12 girls ages 12–14. The group is designed to build self-esteem, confidence, life skills, and educate participants on mental health, boundaries, and self-care. The ideal candidate is not only clinically skilled but also serves as a strong role model for young girls navigating key developmental years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging, therapeutic group sessions focused on emotional and personal development
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments for new participants prior to joining the group
  • Support each participant's individual needs within the group setting
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive group environment
  • Document attendance, assessments, session notes, and client progress in accordance with agency policies
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure comprehensive support for participants
  • Adhere to CARF and OHMAS rules, standards, and agency protocols at all times

Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Social Worker (LSW) credential in the state of Ohio
  • Experience working with adolescents, particularly in a group setting
  • Skilled in conducting mental health assessments and treatment planning
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to serve as a positive role model and promote healthy boundaries
  • Commitment to upholding regulatory and ethical standards
