Hazelbrook was founded by Gene Shvedov in 2016, inspired by his own recovery journey. About the Role:

  • Resident Support: Provide comprehensive support to each resident, ensuring they have all necessary resources for independent living
  • Resource Coordination: Maintain strong knowledge of local community resources and actively research new opportunities to ensure clients receive timely, relevant support for independent living and overall well-being
  • Resident Engagement: Engage with residents to ensure access to essential resources such as insurance, housing, transportation, outside therapists, general practitioners, employment opportunities, and food, while also assisting in scheduling appointments and managing follow-ups with healthcare providers and other service agencies
  • Collaboration: Attend weekly meetings and collaborate with staff to foster a supportive and cohesive environment

Must Have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a behavioral health or social services setting
  • Technology: Proficiency in using computer programs such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Commitment: Strong desire to provide clients with comprehensive services to help them thrive upon discharge
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle crisis situations effective
  • Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to and understanding of clients from diverse backgrounds, promoting an inclusive and respectful environment

Nice to Have:

  • Education: Master’s degree in any social services field
  • Experience: Experience working in a residential care facility
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with services and resources in the Metro Denver area
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency (spanish preferred)
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Training: Training in trauma-informed care or crisis intervention techniques

Location + Hours:

  • Location: On-site position (in-person required) at 3658 Bahama St, Aurora, CO 80013
  • Hours: Part time position, 20 hours per week

Compensation:

  • Salary: $70,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time
