Job Type: Part-TimeLocation: Denver, CO (Outpatient Facility)Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PMCompensation: $16.00-18.00 per hour   About The Role  We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Specimen Collector to join our team at our Denver outpatient treatment center. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting clinical operations by ensuring accurate and timely collection of urine specimens from clients in a respectful and professional manner. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a behavioral healthcare environment with adolescents and young adults.   Key Responsibilities: Collect and label urine specimens in accordance with chain-of-custody protocols Maintain client confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards Enter and update specimen collection data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Prepare and package specimens for lab shipment Interact professionally with clients, family members, and clinical staff Communicate effectively and promptly with the clinical team Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection area Follow all safety and compliance procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical or Operations team   Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED requiredExperience: Previous experience in a behavioral health, medical, or laboratory setting is strongly preferred Familiarity with HIPAA, chain-of-custody, or similar healthcare compliance protocols is a plus Comfortable working with EHR systems and technology Experience working with adolescents or young adults is preferred Must be detail-oriented and able to follow procedures precisely Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Candidates applying for this position should be aware that an offer for employment in this position is contingent upon passing a comprehensive background check, encompassing criminal records and motor vehicle reports.    The Perks  At Sandstone Care, we believe that great care starts with our employees.
