Job description:
- Candidate will need to be an LCDC II or LCDC III or LICDC or LISW or PCC or LSW
- For the purpose of coordinating medication assisted treatment (MAT) counseling and guidance to inmates: completes screenings, coordinates MAT orientation with Recovery Services Staff, assessments, counseling, guidance, and provides assistance to inmates, referrals, treatment plans, documentation, & discharge planning with current or prospective participants; utilizing a coordinated treatment approach (i.e., ODRC Medical, ODRC Medicaid Enrollment, MHAS Community Linkage, contracted Opioid Treatment Provider). Enters relevant information into electronic healthcare record and other required systems. Will monitor attendance & participation progress of offenders in substance use disorder treatment programs; reviews case files & termination of program participation; provides technical assistance for continuing care planning; intervenes in crisis situations; reviews files for MAT program admission consideration.
- Maintains accurate data, documentation and reports of MAT participants in the required electronic healthcare record and other required systems. Monitors, provides support, and tracks MAT participants at additional institutions as assigned. May be required to provide technical assistance & training to staff involved in the recovery services program; participates in program quality assurance activities to include peer, utilization & clinical record reviews.
- Attends seminars & conferences; must conduct self professionally & in a law-abiding manner at all times & in accordance with the Standards of Employee Conduct; ODRC Policy and Protocols, OhioMHAS Policy and Protocols, & performs other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
