Are you passionate about pets and people? Petland Las Vegas is looking for energetic, outgoing, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Pet Counselors. In this role, you'll help match our adorable puppies with their forever families, restock merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide customers through the puppy adoption process with care, knowledge, and professionalism.
• Maintain the health, safety, and cleanliness of our puppies, small animals, and reptiles as well as their living environments.
• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone.
• Assist with inventory, basic cleaning, and light administrative duties as needed.
• Educate pet owners on responsible pet ownership and available services.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive, pet-friendly environment.

Qualifications:

• Passion for animals and their welfare.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Knowledge of various breeds, training techniques, and nutrition.
• Sales or retail experience is preferred, but not required - we will train the right person!
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
