Patient Care Coordinator

The ideal candidate will experienced with multiple aspects of patient care.

3+ years medical experience (Required)

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

EMR systems: 2+ years (Preferred)

CPT & ICD-10 Coding

Medical Records

Medical billing basics

We are looking for someone that is self-starter, a team player with a positive attitude, and able to work with minimal supervision.

The position will be up to 40 hours a week, the candidate must be flexible to work more or less as needed. Position includes numerous locations within DFW area.

Schedule subject to change: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm

Job Duties

Collects patient history, performs medication reconciliation and enters information in the electronic medical record.

Maintains workstation at each location in a neat and orderly condition.

Verifies Insurance

Conducts clinic follow up visits and phone calls

Performs clerical/administrative responsibilities such as filing and/or scanning patient medical records.

Take inventory of clinic supplies and orders supplies as needed.

Quick response time via text and email

Submit diagnosis and procedures codes for insurance claims

Assist in reviewing remittance codes and coding narrative diagnosis
