Seeking AMFT, ASW, APCC for Associateship

Who we are: Greenlight Clinic provides a safe, caring and affirming place for teens and young adults (ages 14-26) to engage in free therapy. Greenlight’s mission is to ensure that young people have the help they need to achieve their personal goals and realize their potential. Greenlight strives to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of treatment by reducing barriers and putting the needs and voices of young people first. Current Opportunities: Greenlight is seeking AMFTs, ASWs, or APCCs who are excited about supporting teens and young adults with diverse backgrounds, identities, strengths and needs. Candidates must be willing to commit at least 10 hours/week for one year to provide individual therapy as well as one support group, along with an additional 1 hour for supervision. We offer therapists flexibility to create their own hours, as long as they can work at least one evening and offer a range of appointment times (especially afternoons) to accommodate the scheduling needs of teens and young adults. Although services are currently being provided remotely due to COVID, candidates must be willing and able to come to SF several times per year to gather with other Greenlight therapists and supervisors for the sake of connection and community building. Candidates must live in the SF Bay Area to be eligible for the position and must also have an active registration with the BBS as an AMFT, ASW or APCC.

Greenlight embraces all clinical orientations while emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship, client’s sense of safety, and a non-judgmental, compassionate approach. Associates will receive 1 hour weekly of supportive individual or triadic supervision along with hourly pay, and will have the opportunity to work autonomously with clients who are highly motivated and engaged in therapy. Greenlight prizes diversity in its clients as well as in its clinicians.

Please note that although Greenlight serves teens and young adults, the vast majority of our clients fall in the 20-26 age range.
