Dental Patient Care Coordinator (Part-Time / Full-Time)
The Oral Surgery & Dental Implants Center is a newly-established oral surgery practice building something special — a modern, relationship-driven dental experience centered around clinical excellence, elevated service, and long-term patient relationships.
We are seeking a confident, organized, and growth-minded Dental Patient Care Coordinator who understands that this role is the heartbeat of the practice. This is more than answering phones. This is about leadership at the front desk — creating trust, presenting value, managing systems, and helping patients move forward with care.
As our practice grows, this position has strong potential to expand into a Treatment Coordinator or Office Manager role.
The Ideal Candidate Is:
- Experienced in dental front desk or treatment coordination
- Confident presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options
- Strong with PPO insurance breakdowns, downgrades, waiting periods, and benefit verification
- Comfortable discussing comprehensive treatment
- Detail-oriented with payment posting and account accuracy
- Organized, proactive, and accountable
- Polished, professional, and hospitality-minded
- Growth-oriented and team-focused
- Familiar with CareStack (preferred but not required)
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Experience & Communication
- Warmly greet and check in patients
- Manage incoming calls with confidence and clarity
- Create an exceptional first and last impression
Scheduling & Flow
- Optimize the schedule for productivity and efficiency
- Confirm appointments and manage recall systems
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment
Financial & Insurance Coordination
- Verify insurance benefits thoroughly
- Present financial estimates clearly and confidently
- Offer payment solutions and financing options
- Collect and post payments accurately
- Support claims coordination and account accuracy
Treatment Acceptance & Growth
- Present and reinforce treatment recommendations
- Track outstanding treatment and follow up strategically
- Support daily production goals
- Help patients say YES to their health
