Plastic Surgery Northwest has an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced, growing practice!
The Reconstruction Care Coordinator / Surgery Scheduler is the first point of contact for callers inquiring about consultations. Employee is responsible for educating potential patients on reconstructive procedures - with an emphasis on Breast Reconstruction and is knowledgeable on the entire range of services offered by Plastic Surgery Northwest. Employee facilitates patient-surgeon consultations through review of records, scheduling initial consultations, hospital surgeries and all necessary pre and post-operative care and coordinating with referring providers. Employee maintains the surgery schedule for all hospital cases.
The Reconstruction Care Coordinator assists the practice/department in maintaining a strong patient focus, supports the delivery of the highest quality care, shares a passion for patient and customer-centered care, and assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial and operational targets.
*Typically requires 2 years of customer service and/or retail experience, knowledge of medical terminology and insurance/payor requirements, 2 year scheduling experience or health care business office experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
