Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA)

($5,000 Sign On Bonus!)

At Bridgeway Integrated Healthcare Services, the work we do matters, and so do the people doing it. From Brigham City to St. George, we walk alongside children and families who are navigating some really hard moments. We don't just clock in and out of purpose; we show up with heart, grit, and a deep belief that every family can grow stronger.

Behavior Clinicians at Bridgeway are clinicians who design, guide, and oversee treatment that strengthens families at their core. This is a role rooted in clinical excellence, ethical practice, and human connection. The Clinician develops, conducts, and oversees the delivery of behavior analytic services within their appropriate scope of practice, as defined by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL) and evidence-based standards for the behavioral health field. This role is challenging, demanding, and deeply impactful. It is for clinicians who want more than a caseload. They want influence, growth, and the opportunity to build others up while holding themselves to a high standard.

Who You Are

  • You are a clinician and a leader, not one or the other.
  • You believe treatment should be high-quality, intentional, and realistic.
  • You can discern situations to make the best judgement call.
  • You understand that families don’t just need plans; they need hope, structure, and follow-through.
  • You are fueled by completing tasks on a structured timeline.
  • You are accountable, growth-oriented, and committed to becoming the best version of yourself.
  • You don’t shy away from complexity, documentation, or responsibility; you rise to it.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, oversee, and deliver behavior analytic services within your licensed scope of practice.
  • Conduct assessments, establish clinical goals, and create individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Supervise and support Behavior Technicians and RBTs, provide clinical guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Provide parent training and whole-family interventions that strengthen systems beyond the therapy session.
  • Respond to clinical crises with professionalism, sound judgment, and ethical decision-making.
  • Provide case management services and collaborate with external providers, including schools and community partners.
  • Coordinate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure ethical, high-quality, and effective service delivery.
  • Deliver services in accordance with all applicable federal and Utah regulations, BIHS policies and procedures, and BIHS curricula, programs, and systems.

What You Can Expect

  • A mission-driven, family-centered culture, not a productivity-only model.
  • Leadership that expects excellence and actively supports your growth.
  • A team environment where collaboration, optimism, and accountability matter.
  • Opportunities to expand your clinical skill set, leadership impact, and professional confidence.
  • Work that is challenging, grounding, and deeply meaningful.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain clinical qualifications, certifications, and licenses, as well as adhere to the other requirements in the Google Drive for the clinical position.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English to team members, parents/caregivers,and other stakeholders.
  • Complete all required documentation in a thorough, professional, and timely manner, according to BIHS policies and procedures guidelines.
  • Display honesty and integrity in all elements of job performance and interactions with teammates.
  • Abide by all Utah and federal rules and regulations guiding ABA and Mental Health services, including, but not limited to:
  • Best Practice standards and ethical guidelines of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB), National Association for Social Workers (NASW), or other applicable licensing board(s);
  • Guidelines and standards set by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL);
  • HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act);
  • Utah Department of Health and Human Services Code of Conduct;
  • Ethical Principles and Codes of Conduct of the American; Psychological Association (Chapters 3. Human Relations, 4. Privacy and Confidentiality, and 10. Therapy);
  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse laws, including 45 CFR 152.27.
  • The Clinician's Google Drive will have specific job maps, job duties, procedures, and ongoing job expectations. The Director’s Google Drive will describe the obligations of those in leadership positions. The Google Drives contain detailed job descriptions and manuals for all job duties; therefore, they are not all listed in this job description.

BCBA Requirements:

  • Active license and ability to practice in Utah, which includes:
  • BCBAs
  • BCaBAs
  • Candidates that are within six months of obtaining their independent licensure are also encouraged to apply.
  • If you feel passionate that you are the perfect candidate and this is the right place for you, but do not have a certification or license listed above, please apply and tell us why you think you'd be a good fit. (We are all about conversations).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality about the clients, families, staff, and any other protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA. (Pretty standard, across the board requirement).
  • Ability to pass a Background Check.
  • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation to be able to transport clients to community outings, attend home sessions, and provide care across multiple settings as clinically fit.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 21 hours a week with three evening sessions per week (4-7 pm) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. This is also based on center needs and availability.
  • Complete BSPs within required timelines to support continuity of care and prevent any lapse in services for the clients and families we serve
  • Clinicians must make themselves available to complete mandatory, ongoing, required training scheduled throughout the year, including evenings and weekends. These are based on center availability, needs, and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work professionally, in cooperation with team members, family members, schools and other providers to coordinate and plan services.
  • Must comply with employment agreement, policies and procedures, and all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Speak, write, read and/or communicate fluently in the English language. Ability to type (or verbally dictate and edit) to write daily session documentation in accordance with quality standards and policies and procedures.
  • Must be computer literate and able to read and respond to multiple company emails and internal messaging per day. Must have access to wi-fi or internet connection outside of work hours.
  • Physical Requirements: Due to the active and physical nature of this position, there are vision and physical requirements that must be met in order to effectively function in this position. The children that we provide services may exhibit physically aggressive behavior, which can include throwing objects, kicking, pinching, punching, biting, etc. Some may also have a tendency to run away (elopement). The Behavior Clinician may be required to respond to such behavior by implementing a Behavior Intervention Plan that may include things such as response blocking, redirecting, extinction, and restraint. Such a response may require a level of agility, quick reflex, and the ability to physically protect themselves and the child from harm and to retrieve the child in the case of elopement. Accordingly, a Behavior Clinician must meet the following additional requirements:
  • Strength and mobility requirements include being able to perform a variety of physical movements, including lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, sitting, bending, running, and squatting.
  • Vision requirements including close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); good peripheral vision ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or the left or right while eyes are fixed on a given point sufficient to provide safety to employee, staff, and clients); and depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distance and spatial relationships).
