Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate BCABA to join our team in providing exceptional behavioral health services. In this role, you will have a small caseload (up to 4-5 clients) . You will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, to support their growth and well-being. Your expertise in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) will be essential in developing personalized treatment plans. You will play a vital role in providing supervision, leading direct therapy services, and maintaining accurate medical documentation, all while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Duties
- Provide case supervision for a small caseload in centers for 4 clients - 4 days/ week. Remote Fridays!
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive behaviors and skill development
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with HIPAA privacy standards and medical terminology is correctly applied
- Assist with training and supervising caregivers or family members to reinforce therapeutic strategies at home or in community settings
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and intake procedures related to behavioral health services
