We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team of professionals dedicated to supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Role and Responsibilities
- Implement behavioral interventions as designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in accordance with ABA standards and best practices.
- Conduct functional assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one support to clients, including data collection and recording of behavior, and implementation of interventions.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to design and implement group programs and activities.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and progress updates to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct daily reports on client behavior and treatment outcomes, providing data-driven insights to inform treatment decisions.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices, including behavioral interventions and data collection methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and move around in a fast-paced environment, as required by the job.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to conduct home visits or community-based programs.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain advanced life support certification if desired.
