Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available in Gulfport, MS, on a contract basis, providing essential psychological services within the school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to students with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school.
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and educational psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel.
