Male-Identifying Counselor for Overnight Theater Camp (June 15-August 4)

Harand Camp, an established overnight theater, sports and activities camp for children 7-18, is seeking one more Male-Identifying Camp Counselor (age 18+) that specializes in the Performing Arts, Technical Theater, Sports, or other Games & Activities, for its 71st Camp Season (June 15 - August 4, 2026). Female-identifying positions are currently full and wait list only for last-minute hires.

Camp Counselors are assigned a specific cabin group, serve as team leaders, and also teach and assist in our theater, sports, and activities program.

All Counselors and Staff must be available to work and reside on campus at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI for the duration of our camp season (June 15 - August 4, 2026). The position also comes with full room and board (valued an additional $600 per week) and a salary of $1400-$1600 for the season (based on experience).

· Camp Counselors 18+

· Excellent with kids of all ages

· High energy & flexible in a fast-paced environment

· Strong leadership & team-building skills

· Ability to command the attention of a large group & lead activities without supervision

· Creative problem-solving skills

· Positive attitude, common sense, and sound judgment

· Sincere desire to be a role model for children

· Interest in the arts/musical theater a plus!

2026 Dates: June 15 - August 4, 2026

· Seven-week commitment (including orientation)

· Must be available for our entire camp season!

Salary Range: Counselors start at $1500+ (18+, atleast one year of college), Assistant Counselors $1400+ (18+, just graduating high school)

· Counselors & Staff also receive FULL room + board on the Carthage College campus (college dorm room, 3 meals a day, valued an additional $600 per week) and all work-related activities paid for. A travel stipend may be available.
