Job Title: Mental Health Therapist (Specializing in Youth & Sports Medicine)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to provide therapy to children and adolescents, including youth athletes. This is a permanent position expected to manage a case load of 20-30 clients a week, with in person service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive lens to their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents (ages 6–18) as well as adults
Address issues related to executive function, disregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and performance-related stress
Support clients managing sports-related injuries, burnout, or performance anxiety
Collaborate with caregivers, school staff, coaches, and allied health professionals when appropriate
Maintain timely documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards of care
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents in a clinical setting
interest or experience in sports psychology, personal training, and working with youth athletes
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
