Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Specialist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will lead the implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions, primarily focusing on individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Conduct patient assessments, including intake procedures and ongoing progress evaluations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavioral progress to inform treatment adjustments and optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education professionals, medical staff, and caregivers to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff in applying applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatment modifications, and progress notes with attention to detail.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions while adhering to best practices in patient care and behavioral health standards.
Skills
- Deep understanding of behavioral therapy principles, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation for behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance related to patient information.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations.
