The Parent Family & Community Liaison is responsible for strengthening home-school connections and fostering trust with diverse families. Reporting to the Principal and Director of Family & Community Outreach, this role involves coordinating parent engagement activities, supporting district initiatives, and facilitating access to community resources. Key duties include serving as a communication bridge between families and schools, conducting outreach through meetings and home visits, organizing workshops, and promoting participation in district events. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience working with culturally diverse families. Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish, organized, professional, and capable of building responsive relationships. This position requires frequent travel, flexible hours, and maintaining confidentiality, supporting district goals to enhance family involvement and student success. Work is conducted primarily inside and outside across various community sites, with 187 workdays per year.
