The Special Services Professional/Behavior Specialist provides support to special education teachers in developing and implementing discrete trial programs, verbal behavior training, behavior intervention plans, and data collection to monitor progress. Must hold a Master's degree and BCBA certification. Serves as a resource for staff and parents, assists in designing instructional and environmental modifications, and conducts professional trainings including CPI. Conducts or assists with Functional Behavior Assessments and develops Behavior Improvement Plans. Supports data tracking systems, models research-based techniques, and participates in ARD meetings. Provides leadership in behavior analysis, promotes program quality, and supervises other behavior specialists pursuing BCBA hours. Salary for 2025-2026 is $66,064 for 197 days, with adjustments based on the start date.
