Position Summary
Stepwise Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy PLLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavior Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with children to implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA, helping clients strengthen communication, social, adaptive, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs
  • Collect accurate session data on behaviors, goals, and client progress
  • Support clients in developing communication, play, social interaction, self-help, and adaptive skills
  • Implement behavior management strategies, reinforcement systems, prompting procedures, and intervention plans as directed
  • Maintain a safe, structured, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment
  • Communicate professionally with families, supervisors, and team members regarding client progress or concerns
  • Complete session notes and documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and company policies
  • Attend supervision sessions, team meetings, and required trainings

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children is required
  • Experience working with children with autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges is strongly preferred
  • ABA experience or RBT certification is preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow clinical guidance and implement treatment plans consistently
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are required
  • Energetic, patient, compassionate, and able to actively engage with young children throughout sessions

Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $20.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience, credentials, and case assignment)

Expected Hours: 12–30 hours per week

Preferred Availability: Afternoon and evening hours
