Key Autism Services is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Fellowship & Early Mentoring Opportunities

At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting BTs and RBTs who are pursuing their BCBA certification through our structured Fellowship and Early Mentoring Programs.

Fellowship Program:

Our Fellowship Program is designed for team members enrolled in or who have completed their behavior analytic coursework (master’s degree or certificate program) and are working toward becoming a BCBA. Fellows are paired with experienced supervisors within the Fellowship Department who provide guidance on BACB clinical requirements and current examination content.

Program highlights include:

  • Streamlined curriculum aligned with current BACB regulations and exam content outlines

  • Supervision from experienced clinical leaders and onsite teams

  • Opportunities to accrue restricted and unrestricted fieldwork hours

  • Ongoing mentorship and professional development support

Early Mentoring Program:

The Early Mentoring Program is designed for fellows who are within approximately six months of sitting for the BCBA exam and/or have completed 1,500–2,000 fieldwork hours.

Participants accepted into the program receive additional benefits, including:

  • Paid unrestricted hours completed each week

  • Increased hourly compensation

  • Access to advanced client programming projects

  • Free or discounted BCBA exam study preparation packages

  • Participation in study prep meetings and mentorship sessions

  • Continued fellowship hour accrual under the guidance of their assigned Responsible Supervisor

These programs are designed to help BTs and RBTs build the skills, experience, and confidence needed to successfully transition into a BCBA role while continuing to make a meaningful impact with clients and families.

Responsibilities

As an RBT, you will:

  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans

  • Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors

  • Use ABA teaching strategies including Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET)

  • Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical team members to ensure consistent care

  • Participate in supervision sessions, trainings, and team meetings

  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapy environment

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 3 months of ABA experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable, professional, and compassionate

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children during sessions
