  • Facilitate intake processes and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in behavioral health and clinical research.
  • Maintain thorough medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for patients with complex needs, including those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Provide specialized counseling services addressing PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, chronic pain management, and working with individuals with disabilities or geriatrics.
  • Engage in telehealth sessions to expand access to care while ensuring adherence to clinical standards and ICD coding requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW or equivalent credentialed mental health professional with active state licensure.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, group therapy, and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic purposes and CPT coding for billing processes.
  • Experience working with children and families in pediatric or special education settings; familiarity with working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management skills.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with proficiency in medical terminology and documentation standards under HIPAA regulations.
  • Telehealth experience is highly desirable; ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for virtual platforms while maintaining engagement and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of social work principles, addiction counseling techniques, psychopharmacology basics, and behavior management strategies is a plus. Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing comprehensive mental health care that empowers individuals on their journey toward wellness!
