Evening Community Technician (3:30pm-11:00pm), 5 days per week with rotating weekends.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our direct patient care team at our residential treatment facility in Sykesville, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team-based environment and have a passion and curiosity for working with those who are struggling with addiction and other behavioral health concerns.

The Recovery Support Professional will be responsible for ensuring overall patient safety, completing rounds and room checks, and providing mentorship and guidance to the community. Experience in the field of substance use and behavioral health is preferred but not required . A willingness to learn, a passion or interest in working with those struggling with addiction, and the ability to respond to situations quickly and professionally is indispensable. Individuals in long term recovery are encouraged to apply!

Peer recovery specialist certified is a bonus!

Other Responsibilities:

• Screen patient belongings, monitor client movement on property, and account for whereabouts
• Coordinate in house activities, chores, leisure time, and visitation
• Provide mentorship and lead support and psycho-educational groups on specified topics
• Complete written and electronic documentation
• Complete room searches and ensure cleanliness of bedrooms

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
