Full-Time Mental Health Counselor - Muskogee, OK- 1 day/10 hours a week - Construction EnvironmentWe are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Muskogee, OK This part time, one day a week for 10 hours, role will provide ongoing support to individuals, helping them successfully manage their mental well-being in the workplace. As part of a collaborative team, you will be instrumental in promoting a culture of mental wellness and supporting employees through counseling, education, and wellness initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Individual Counseling: Meet one-on-one with employees during scheduled sessions or walk-ins, providing counseling to support mental health and emotional well-being.Promote Wellness Initiatives: Advocate for and support mental wellness initiatives on-site, helping to create a culture that prioritizes mental health and well-being.Cultural Awareness: Spread awareness and promote a positive culture that supports mental well-being and reduces stigma surrounding mental health.Leadership Education: Provide ongoing education for leadership, safety teams, and Mental Health First Aiders on mental health topics and best practices.Crisis Response: Deliver emergency response and care following a mental health crisis, supporting both employees and leadership in managing critical situations.Mindful Movement Sessions: Lead mindful movement sessions during Stretch and Flex to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance employee well-being.Site-wide Engagement: Attend and contribute to monthly site-wide lunch events and participate in additional initiatives designed to foster mental health awareness and employee engagement.Qualifications:Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in OklahomaProven experience in providing individual counseling and mental health supportAbility to create and deliver mental health education and training for teams and leadershipExperience in crisis management and providing support during mental health emergenciesStrong communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with employeesAbility to engage employees in wellness initiatives and foster a culture of mental well-beingIf you're passionate about supporting mental health in the workplace and have a desire to make a difference, we encourage you to apply.
