Duties
- Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on approved treatment plans, focusing on skill development and behavior management.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure treatment efficacy and inform ongoing care plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks to promote independence.
- Support clients during educational activities, applying principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to reinforce positive behaviors.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting session details, progress notes, and any incidents in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Foster a safe, supportive environment by implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviors.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively.
- Compassionate approach to working with individuals requiring patient care and behavioral health support.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and implement behavior management strategies consistently.

Pay: $25.80 - $31.07 per hour
